Oral Syringe

An Oral Syringe is used to dispense liquid solutions and suspensions, and can be used to give almost any medication available as a capsule or tablet as an oral liquid. It is used to dispense liquid medicine into the mouth. Its made up of three main parts: a straw like stopper, the barrel or body and the plunger. A Oral Syringe is made of plastic or glass. It is not fitted with a needle but is graduated and is used to dispense liquid medication to children. It is a measuring device used to accurately measure small doses of liquid medicine, which are then given to a child by mouth.
